FAQs

Real questions. Honest answers.

What conditions do you commonly treat?

1

I provide comprehensive care for many concerns, including thyroid disorders, perimenopause and menopause transitions, hormone imbalances, IBS and digestive issues, anxiety, and depression. My specialty is supporting neurodivergent adults with ANY health concern.

What's different about working with a naturopathic doctor?

2

I take my time getting to know you and your health history. We’ll search for the root cause, and treat you as the WHOLE person you are. We use what works—natural, pharmaceutical, or both.

Do you understand ADHD/Autism and how it affects health?

3

Yes! I recognize that neurodivergent brains process life differently, and I tailor my approach accordingly. This means breaking down treatment plans into manageable steps, finding reminders that work for YOU, and never shaming you for struggling with "simple" tasks that aren't simple for your brain.

What does "weight-inclusive" or "body-positive" healthcare mean?

4

It means I focus on your HEALTH, not your weight. I practice weight-inclusive care. No weight-based shame, no mandatory weigh-ins, and no blaming symptoms on body size. Your body deserves respect at every size.

Do you provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care?

5

Absolutely. Grounded Heart is a safe, affirming space for ALL gender identities and sexual orientations.

Do you take insurance?

6

I am contracted with most Regence and Premera plans. You're responsible for confirming I'm contracted with your specific plan and that your plan includes naturopathic coverage. Upon request, I'll provide good-faith estimates for my services so you know costs upfront.

Where are you located?

We will meet via telehealth, making healthcare accessible from the comfort of your own home. I'm licensed in Washington State and welcome patients from throughout the state, including Seattle, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Bothell, Everett, Edmonds, Shoreline, Kenmore, Marysville, and Kirkland.
